FAQ
Questions worth asking.
Short, direct answers about what Neva AI voice agents do, what they don’t, and how a deployment is set up.
01The basics
- What is an AI voice agent?
- Software that holds a phone conversation in natural speech. It listens, understands what the other person needs, responds, and takes an action such as booking a meeting or recording a request. Neva AI agents do this for outbound calls (you call prospects) and inbound calls (people call you).
- Will people know they are talking to an AI?
- That is how agents are set up: the opening line introduces the agent as an AI assistant, in wording agreed with you before launch. We don’t set agents up to pass as human.
- What is the difference between outbound and inbound?
- Outbound agents start the conversation: they call prospects who match your ideal customer profile, qualify interest against your criteria and book meetings. Inbound agents answer your line around the clock, understand the request, capture the details, resolve what they are allowed to and route the rest to your team.
- Is the call on this website a real call?
- No. The Neva Console on this site is an illustrative walkthrough with fictional businesses and a scripted conversation. It shows how a call unfolds; it is not a recording or a live demo.
02Calls and outcomes
- Where do outbound prospects come from?
- From the ideal customer profile you define. Neva AI sources and organizes matching prospect data, and the agent calls the people on that list. Who exactly may be called is agreed with you before a campaign starts.
- How many calls can it handle?
- Outbound capacity is over 10,000 calls a day. How many calls a campaign actually makes depends on your list, the calling hours you allow and the rules that apply where you call.
- Does inbound work outside business hours?
- Yes. Inbound agents answer 24/7, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
- What happens when a call is too complex for the agent?
- It hands the conversation to a person on your team, following the handoff rules you set, and passes on what it has already learned so the caller doesn’t have to repeat themselves.
- Can it book meetings and appointments?
- Yes. Booking is one of the outcomes an agent can complete on the call. The calendar it books into is connected during setup.
03Setup, tools and data
- Which tools does Neva AI work with?
- Call outcomes can be passed to the kinds of tools teams already use: CRM, calendar, helpdesk and messaging. Which specific connections your deployment needs is scoped with you during setup.
- How is call data handled?
- Where call records and transcripts are kept, for how long and who can access them is agreed for each deployment before any calls are made. The security page explains what this website does with data today.
- Are automated outbound calls allowed where we operate?
- It depends on the country and on who is being called. Calling rules, hours and opt-out handling are agreed before a campaign starts, and we don’t run campaigns the applicable rules don’t allow. This is not legal advice; your own counsel has the final word.
- What does it cost?
- We don’t publish prices yet. Cost depends on call volume and scope, and we’ll go through it with you after the demo.
- How do we get started?
- Book a demo and tell us about your calls. We’ll reply by email, talk through your goals and volumes, and show you how an agent would handle your kind of calls.
